They were given to us by La Société des Loisirs, the pressing plant that made the album — a plant that no longer exists today.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach one came off the press during a colour change. To move from one colour to the next, the plant runs the machine until the last pellets of the old colour clear the line, then cleans it down completely before the new colour can run true — most of all on the way to white. The records made in that in-between moment are these: no two alike, each its own blend of where one colour ended and the next began.
